Making sure you secure the best entertainment available on your wedding day is a must for music loving couples. In fact, for some it's even more important than their wedding venue. So much so, that we've even had clients change their wedding date just so they can have Cassien perform at their wedding!

Like all wedding vendors, the good ones can get booked up years in advance so if there is a band you really like, get them booked as soon as possible.

12 to 9 months before your wedding.

We find the busiest period for enquiries is between 12 and 9 months out from the wedding date but it's not uncommon for dates to be booked 18 months in advance. If you'd like to secure Cassien for your date, you can check our availability and enquire on our Music Marmalade profile.

When is peak wedding season?

In 2026, our busiest months have been from May through to October with most of these bookings taking place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Weekday weddings are becoming more and more popular, especially for couples visiting Scotland for destination weddings.

Can I hold off booking if my wedding is off season?

If your wedding date is on a Friday or Saturday, we'd always recommend securing your band as soon as possible.

How do I book my wedding band?

Start your enquiry through our Music Marmalade profile here. Enter your date to check availability, then add a few details about your day to get an estimated price. You can add extras at this stage too, like the brass section, the Sax & Bongo DJ set or daytime entertainment. Once you send it over, we'll come back with a final quote and set up a call to go through the booking together.
